i am gonna miss this boy...
i am going on a work trip
i wont be on here for a week
but....
i will be back with amazing photos!!!
had a good day with jack
first time i am going to be away from him this long...

dhanis

went for a country drive today
used to go ghost town hunting
this is one from an old stone church that burned down
i thought it was strange to see this old of a cemetery
the gravestones were all in German
really odd place...

waiting

cant wait until spring
i want to plant pretty plants in my backyard
plant some grass
so jacks yard is fun to play in
and find the best spot to sit and relax
aahh weather in the low 70s with a breeze....

cupcakes

lastnight i made some cupcakes with jack
they are for a suprise over the hill party
when i am 40 jack will be 12
wow...
i cant imagine him that old....
i want cupcakes for my 40th for sure

wednesday

as some may know i am a display artist for a store
it is a good job i really love it
its been almost four years
this is one of my displays
of course i had my wonderful sidekick dia help me
but this one makes me happy everytime i look at it
and customers on a daily basis make me love my job more
just by saying that they love something i made
or that they come to the store to be inspired
that makes me smile....

oops

this one is for yesterday
i didn't get around to it
yesterday was kinda a yucky day
but the week is getting better
my evening was by far the best part of the day
jack and i put on headphones
and listened to beautiful boy by john lennon
he sang it to me with our foreheads touching
such a sweet boy....

new park

found a kaleidoscope at the park
came back with some funny photos...
made my Monday better...

diner food

usually on Sundays
we go to the all night diner
good greasy food
always some strange people
and of course the high school hangout place
for the most part, people coo over jack
especially the old folks

howdee

we built a brick grill in our backyard
it is nice and cold today so we lit a fire
then decided to grill some food
we ran out of marshmellows though...

full moon

so this sums up my day handling jack
it figures,there is a full moon
but bedtime...it went very well
out like a light in twenty minutes.

cutting birds

i think my index finger will fall off today
i cut out birds all week long for the windows
plus my hands are so dry
but that is one of the benefits of being an artist
isn't it...

thirsty

i am not drinking enough water.
no bueno.
its Wednesday
kinda a blah day.
nothing too exciting today.
watching rocky and Bullwinkle with jack.

that thingey

it never gets old.
its one of those fascination things.
the noise and the way it shakes.
hours of enjoyment.
hard to photograph.
this one was probably number 26 of all the shots i took.
this blog isn't as easy as it looks.....

basil

i think that we dont eat enough basil.
it is pretty amazing.
i still want to live on a lavender farm.
and of course there will be basil too.
texas and france are both perfect climates for lavender.
i would take either one for a farm.

problems

my feet are size eleven.
i have problems finding good comfy shoes.
i wish i could be barefoot all the time.
or wear flip flops year round.

third

today we went for an oil change.
jack wanted to wear his boots.
he always acts like a tough guy when he has them on.
he is patient when it comes to doing things at the mechanics.
its all lost as soon as its nap time.

number two

so far the photos are all of my son. i have had time off and we are busy doing all the things that a three year old needs to do. i plan on taking one photo a day and posting it daily. i just started and need to catch up. i have been seriously taking photos since i was about 14. i knew then that i wanted to do something in the arts.i see everyday that the best thing you can ever make in your life is a child. they are so amazing. it is great to see how his creativity comes out daily. it is a love affair. this photo was when we were cleaning up christmas and we forgot an ornament.

little late

today starts my one a day photo blog project.

it is all about taking a photo of my life once a day to capture a feeling of the day i have had. most of you that know me, know i have a little one who will most likely be the main subject of the photos. his life is my life as well. this is just my starter project and i want to eventually put all the photos up for a show. thanks for looking. hope you enjoy.
